PREP: 15 mins + Refrigerating
MAKES: 8 servings
1 pkg (8 oz) Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of creamy peanut butter
2 cups thawed Cool Whip whipped topping
1 Oreo pie crust
1/4 cup phot fudge ice cream topping
1) Beat cream cheese, sugar and peanut butter in large bowl with mixer until blended. Gently stir in Cool Ship until well blended.
2) Spoon into crust; drizzle with fudge topping. Swirl the hot fudge gently on the top of the pie filling with a knife.
3) refrigerate 4 hours or until firm. Serve and refrigerate any left overs.
SUGGESTION: sprinkle salted chopped peanuts
I love this pie. It is very easy to make but very, very, very sweet. I would serve very small servings unless you can handle a lot of sweet pie. Has huge peanut butter taste. You must love Resee's peanut butter cups. All in all this is the best peanut butter pie I have ever eaten.
ReplyDeleteAlso I would use sugar free cool whip to help with all of the sugar. It will not change the sweetness of the pie.
